Faye Clarke is the chief stew on the “Mercury” yacht on Below Deck Adventure, which means she will oversee everything from food management to yacht cleanup and packing/unpacking for guests in the yacht.
As a chief stew on the Mercury yacht, it will be the first time Faye, who became involved in the yachting industry after a trip to Italy, experiences this unique culture of yachting: adventure yachting.
Like Faye told The List, Faye brought her skills from working in the corporate world and translated them into her career as a yachtie pretty well. Even though she comes from the corporate world, she did a lot of fancy dress, a lot of camping, and traveling in her personal life–all of which contributed to Below Deck Adventure.
In an interview with ET, Faye described the difference between party yachting and adventure yachting. She told, “[Our guests] don’t watch the average [vacation] where they are just sipping rosé on a beach. They want to come away with an experience. They wanna be scared at some point.”
Faye wants people to see a completely new side to yachting on the new show. “I think Below Deck Adventure is going to bring the audience something that they have never seen before…Like, they will see accidents happen… they will see people coming out of their comfort zones,” Faye told ET.
When asked if joining the Below Deck franchise was intimidating for her, Faye told that she was indeed doubtful at the beginning, But, then she remembered she has lived her life trying to tick off many things on her bucket list, and she definitely did not want to miss joining a super-popular franchise.
Faye Clarke, who is friends with Real Housewives Salt Lake City star Heather Gray, is happy with what she did as a chief stew on Mercury. There was so much demand, not only from her guests but also from her crew and captain, and Faye feels she did the absolute best. Faye also shared that her mental preparation was of great help.

Below Deck Adventure star Faye calls herself a world traveler, and rightly so as she packed up all her belongings and decided to travel the world for ten years at the age of 21.
Faye is also a philosopher, chef, and makeup artist. She has also worked in the corporate world before moving to Italy to make a career in yachting. From September 30, 2018, to October 1, 2019, Faye was Sole Stew on a 46-meter Baglietto and was with the same fleet for 15 months in Sardinia, Italy.
From September 30, 2019, to March 1, 2020, Faye worked at the City of Fort Lauderdale and led an interior team for nearly a year in Florida. She was also the cook for 15 crew during this time.
Prior to joining the yacht Mercury as a chief stew, Faye was Sole Stew and Crew Cook at MY Sea Lady 43meter.
Furthermore, the Below Deck Adventure star also owns a food truck called The Salt Beef Shack, which delivers bagels, soups, curry pots, and other meals.
