Is Nikki Amuka-Bird Dating Anyone After Her Divorce?

It’s been a while since anyone’s asked about Nikki Amuka-Bird. But now that she’s making headlines as “Sabrina” in the horror movie Knock at the Cabin, we’re sure fans would be interested in her current love life.

So, is the star dating anyone after her divorce? Keep reading to find out.

Nikki Amuka-Bird Divorce

Nikki Amuka-Bird divorced her husband Geoffrey Streatfeild back in 2010. They were married for 7 years until time got the best of them.

Surprisingly, the former husband-wife share no kids. Perhaps, both the actors were too busy with careers that they never had a chance to start a family.

But thanks to Nikki’s dedication, today, she’s a star in  M. Knight Shymalan’s horror flick Knock at the Cabin. Her character “Sabrina” is one of four strangers who knocks on a cabin, demanding that the inhabitants sacrifice one of their own to stop the end of the world.

The door that Sabrina knocks on belongs to a family of three — two dads (Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge) and their young daughter (Kristen Cui).

In detail, the two dads, Eric and Andrew, and their daughter Wen were vacationing in a quiet cabin. But when Wen is out collecting grasshoppers, she’s approached by Leonard (Dave Bautista), who tells her that he wants to be her friend. Soon after, three other people Sabrina, (Nikki), Ardiane (Abby Quinn), and Redmond (Rupert Grint), all approach, all carrying strange-looking weapons.

Naturally, Wen and her dads lock then themselves in the cabin, but the intruders forced their way inside. So, once Eric and Andrew are subdued and tied up, Leonard asks them to decide to kill one among them to save all of humanity. If not, the apocalypse is coming!

Now, one can deduce that these four people are lunatics, but the spooky kick of Knock at the Cabin is that there’s something rational about these ostensible villains. They cross as ordinary people, with a talk of impending global calamity and the chilling ring of logic, that might as well convince the family and the viewers.

Who Is Nikki Amuka-Bird Ex-Husband?

Nikki Amuka-Bird’s ex-husband Geoffrey Streatfeild is an actor. He was born on January 1, 1975, in the historic Streatfeild family who helped shaped the counties of Sussex, Surrey, and Kent during the 17th and 18th centuries. Bitten by an acting bug ever since a child, Geoffrey attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and later studied Drama at the University of Manchester.

From 1992 – 1997, he was also a member of the National Youth Theatre.

Finally, Geoffrey started his TV career in the early 2000s. His earliest roles include “Eddie” in Swords of Honor (2001), “Tony Kroesig” in Love in Cold Climate (2001), “Francis Weston” in The Other Boleyn Girl, and “King George III” in Timewatch (2004).

It was also reported that Geoffrey met Nikki while the latter touring with the RSC in Japan.

Now, he’s popular for his appearances in Anatomy of a Scandal (2022), Life (2020), Traitors (2019), The Hollow Crown (2017), MI-5 (2015), Rush (2013), Endeavour (2013), and Private Peaceful (2012).

Trivia: Geoffrey is also the co-founder of the Old School Theatre Group.

Is Nikki Amuka-Bird Dating Anyone?

No, as of 2023, Nikki Amuka-Bird wasn’t dating anyone. She still seems more focused on her career rather than starting a family.

No wonder, she now has over 60 movies and TV shows credits to her name. Some of the popular ones are — Avenue 5 (2022), Persuasion (2022), The Outfit (2022), Old (2021), Gold Digger (2019), The Laundromat (2019), Hard Sun (2018), Quarry (2018), Luther (2013), Survivors (2010), Silent Witness (2010), Five Days (2007), and Bad Girls (2004).

Also, thanks to her portrayal of the central character of “Natalie” — that wowed audiences and critics alike in Zadie Smith’s critically acclaimed novel NW — she won a BAFTA for “Leading Actress.”

Though Nikki might be a successful actor today, as a child she held a very different ambition. She wanted to become a dancer! Sadly, she hurt her back mid-way through her career and joined a drama college, because it was either a drama school or an academic degree. “It was only really when I went to drama college that that world [acting] opened up to me and I fell in love with it and became obsessed like everybody else,” she added.
