Joaquim Valente was all smiles when he met up with a group of friends, including Gisele Bündchen, for lunch at Houston’s in North Miami Beach on 17 November 2022. Gisele on this day was wearing an all-green outfit, a long-sleeved top, and pants, while Joaquim paired the look with white sneakers and a black watch. But, most importantly, these two were photographed sharing a meal at Koji in Provincia de Puntarenas. Also, the news about their romance emerged following Gisele’s surprise split from Tom Brady, whom she married on 26 February 2009. Anyway, back to Gisele-Joaquim romance rumors, a Brazilian gossip site alleges that the two are an item. But, a source conveyed on Page Six that the talks of a relationship are completely false. The source explained that Joaquim and his two brothers have instructed Gisele and her children in martial arts for the past year and a half and they travel with the model and her family because the kids are homeschooled.
Yet, Page Six also previously reported, that although sources insist the model is not dating him, photos of the two of them were designed to send a message to her estranged husband.
This, even Gisele admitted that she met Joaquim because of her son. She said a friend of hers told her about the Valente brothers and their martial art school, and since she wanted to steer her almost teenage son in the right direction. And though she initially not considering it for herself, she soon realized that her time with Joaquim was much more than self-defense. She said he made her interested in philosophy.

In 1999, the other brother Gui also moved to South Florida to attend Barry University and help his brother with the Academy. The addition of Gui Valente to the school was instrumental in the tremendous growth that the academy would experience in the years to come.
Among the Valente brothers, it was Pedro Jr. who flew to Los Angeles to participate in a Royce Gracie seminar in 2010 where he taught some moves to the athletes, including Kaká and Cristiano Ronaldo.
