Oprah Winfrey Network’s Ready To Love has always had an awesome set of contestants as a cast. This time, it’s no different either. Joi first announced on January 14 that she would be a part of Ready To Love Season 5. She posted a promotional picture of hers on her Instagram and wrote, “So Ya girl stepped out on a limb with her heart in her hand to see if the DMV is READY TO LOVE”
The 5th season of Ready To Love premiered on OWN on January 28, 2022. The episodes of Ready To Love can be streamed on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Philo, and more. Joi also made an Instagram post and asked her fans and followers to watch the premiere of the show on January 28th.

The first-look trailer released ahead of the show’s premiere revealed that all members of the cast are well put together and fashionable. Through the teaser, viewers learned how the 14 singles participating in the show are genuinely trying to find a long-term life partner.
In the premiere of Ready To Love, viewers learned about the jobs and career titles of every cast member. The show also did put an effort in telling the viewers if the contestants were previously married and whether or not they have any children of their own already.
The first episode of the OWN show Season 5 also saw two eliminations. Kino and Fernando became the contestants to have very early eliminations.
As for Joi, she hit it off with Clifton, an entrepreneur by profession, on the first episode itself. She also revealed that she does not have any kids of her own and is looking forward to having them only after she meets the right person.
