Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs’s wedding ceremony happened during a blizzard at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, N.Y. on Jan. 6. He shared many photos from his lovely day on Instagram on Friday, revealing the good news with the caption, “I got married! Two weeks ago. In a *light* blizzard.”
“It was an incredibly overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend,” he added.
In the first image Josh posted, he and his spouse were kissing at the altar while snow fell all around them. He looked dapper in a dark brown suit, while she looked like a princess in an A-line gown. More photos captured the couple kissing and posing in the picturesque winter grounds of the estate.
According to the New York Times, the HIMYM actor also took time to express gratitude to the 164 guests who braved the 22-degree weather to witness him wed the love of his life. He also extolled the virtues of the people who helped make his wedding possible, such as Sam Spector, the Cedar Lakes Estate, and his picture team from Forged in the North.
Lastly, he sent a sweet message to Jacobs. “I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,” Josh gushed.
The Times that Jordana and Josh met each other at a meditation retreat in upstate New York in February 2022. Before taking psychedelic mushrooms, Josh heard a voice told him, “That’s your woman,” during their meditation. Jacobs experienced something similar. After the weekend retreat, the two were bonded beyond belief.
“We were constantly in touch, sharing things we had written and things we had made,” Josh told the Times for a profile on their wedding. “Thoughts, feelings, insights.”
Josh eventually moved from Los Angeles, where Jacobs practices and has relatives, to Brooklyn before he began filming “Fleishman Is in Trouble” for Hulu. He made an exclusive statement to Page Six on his romantic life at the time of the miniseries launch. “During the filming of this, I was very much newly with someone [who] I’m still with and continue to be very excited about,” he raved.
Following their meditation, Josh and Jordana became engaged in 2023 in Joshua Tree, California.
