Netflix’s Love is Blind: Japan premiered on February 8, 2022, and it saw Kaoru Miyazaki alongside 24 singles ready to find their soulmate. This Japanese version of the hit franchise followed the original format as the main series, with couples proposing to each other before they are even able to see each other.
The potential husband/wife would then embark on a trip to a romantic destination, and meet each other’s family before deciding if they want to get married in the final ep or not.
All excited to appear on the show, Kaoru took it to her IG on the premiere day to write, “Hey guys!m Catch me on Love Is Blind Japan @netflix @netflixjp.”
Trying to break out of the conventional way of dating alongside Kaoru were her co-stars — Ladies (10): Toshie, Midori, Motomi, Minami, Eri, Ayano, Maki, Nana, Priya, and Nanako; and Men (13): Takumi, Jinya, Yudai, Mori, Shuntaro, Odacchi, Atsushi, Sho, Misaki, Ryotaro, Ryoga, Mizuki, and Wataru.
Also, making the show more interesting were the hosts a.k.a “Navigators” Takashi Fujii and Yuka Itaya.
As for the filming location, the dating series was filmed in Tokyo (at Toho Studios) and Yomitan (at Hoshinoya Okinawa).
The eps 1-5 were scheduled to air from Feb 8, 6-9 from Feb 15, and 10-11 from Feb 22.
Are Kaoru Miyazaki And Misaki Hirotani From Love Is Blind Still Together?
Love is Blind: Japan stars, Kaoru Miyazaki and Misaki Hirotani are likely not together. The last we checked, the duo were pursuing their respective professions, well away from each other.
Also, over the show, we saw that the relationship between the two got tumultuous as Kaoru began to feel like Misaki was a bit of an “airhead” — who knew nothing about her. Moreover, Misaki not being able to instantly recall Kaoru’s last name when asked on the show, didn’t help his case either.
That, combined with a lack of interactions between Kaoru and Misaki over the socials, certainly makes it evident that the two didn’t make it.

For those of you who missed their romance, Kaoru took a liking to Misaki, after she found out that they both were animal lovers with pet dogs. Moreover, Kaoru’s venture to Kenya stuck with Misaki’s fancy of wanting a partner who wouldn’t mind traveling to Africa with him.
The two then came to the conclusion that there was no one else they’d rather wished to be with. So, Misaki proposed the day after.
As of 2022, Kaoru resided in Tokyo, while her potential partner was back in the East African country.
