Below Deck fans have seen a wide range of crew members come and go over the years. Logan Reese was one of them. He became a fan favorite as the show’s newcomer and deckhand and left the show after its second season in 2014.
Since the new Below Deck Sailing Yacht returned, on 21 February 2022, viewers have been wondering where Logan is now. (New yachties Tom Pearson and Kelsie Goglia filled in Logan’s former position as a deckhand.)

Where Is Below Deck‘s Logan Reese Now?
After his time on Below Deck, Logan took about two weeks off then went straight back to work. Speaking to BravoTV.com after his time on the show, Logan revealed that he has been working on a smaller private boat.
So yes. Logan continues to travel the world. Not long ago, he got back from a trip to the Bahamas. He shared memories from then on his social media.
Logan also said he had stayed in touch with a number of his Below Deck co-stars. “I mainly keep in contact with Kelley, who I go shark fishing with when we have the time.” He also talked to Eddie a few times. So basically he said he has had drinks with everyone except the Captain (Lee Rosbach) since the charter season in the British Virgin Islands.
(Of course) he is now based in Fort Lauderdale in Florida.

Now, this is also a new development. Yes. Logan has a girlfriend and luckily he did not choose to hide her from the world. Her name is Elissa Ellis and she could be found on Instagram @viva_la_lissa as well as on Facebook. “Life must be rich and full of loving, it’s no good otherwise, no good at all, for anyone” Elissa quoted Jack Kerouac as her BIO on social media.
In an Instagram post from October 2021 and what looked like an official outing of their relationship, Logan described Elissa as his “witchy woman”. Elissa also adorably labeled him with names like “my favorite bearded beauty”.

Despite being a native of a landlocked state, Logan always had this love of water and ships. So, when the Shawnee High School alum completed a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant administration at Oklahoma State University, in 2004, he moved to the Virgin Islands and took jobs as a deckhand on sailboats. He did this job for a year and a half.
As he loved exploring new opportunities, Logan moved to New Zealand for two years where he worked as a canyon guide. Then, coming back to the states in 2012, he went back to his roots and decided to try his luck in the yacht industry. He has never looked back since.
