I just know in her house, there was a giant book of the Book of Mormon.” Lori’s parents didn’t come to her cheer competitions, Flores-Lopez said, but that didn’t seem to bother Lori. They were a quiet family and kept pretty much to themselves, she said.
Janis also appeared on Netflix’s Sins Of Our Mother and said, “It was just a big family, and we did have a lot of fun. I raised all our kids in the LDS church… and Lori always loved the scriptures. She took to it right away.” Even her father claimed that she once “started crying” as an 8-year-old while he was trying to educate her on something simply because she felt like he was a “spiritual giant!”

Barry was also reprimanded by an Arizona judge for “engaging in the unauthorized practice of law” in 2018, according to Arizona State Bar records,” Inside Edition reported.
As if that’s not enough, Barry was sentenced to 366 days in prison for making a false statement to the IRS in 1999.
