Bravo’s Southern Hospitality came into existence thanks to Leva Bonaparte’s time on Southern Charm season 7. Handing the star her own show, Bravo not only blessed her life but also the lives of her employees including Maddi Reese working at Republic Garden & Lounge.
According to Leva, her restaurant was popular, not only because of its ambiance and name but also thanks to her larger-than-life staff who each shone in their own light. And we couldn’t agree more. The Republic’s DJ & VIP Manager, Maddi had already been working there for over 4 years, and each day felt somewhat new. Her charm and talent for pleasing the guests were second to none. Ever her co-workers were mesmerized by the lady! So, much so that Joe couldn’t resist asking her out.
Joining Maddi for the inaugural season of Southern Hospitality were her co-stars/workers Mikel Simmons, Grace Lilly, Joe Bradley, Lucía Peña, Mia Alario, Will Kulp, Emmy Sharrett, TJ Dinch, and Bradley Carter.
Besides Republic Garden & Lounge, Maddi’s employees also owned three other bars located on King Street. Their premium sports bar has gleaming reviews on Google. And their fusion restaurant Mesu has a whole lot of flare offering a menu of Mexican food and sushi. It invites guests to come and enjoy Mesu’s “bold flavors, exotic plates, and well-crafted cocktails.”
Finally, they owned Bubbles N’ Bourbon. It was also featured in an ep on Southern Hospitality — the one where Patricia Altschul was shown having her own private liquor locker there.
Guess, Maddi also had options to jump ships if she was on the good side of Leva.

Maddi Reese garnered a net worth of under $200 thousand by 2022. Reportedly, her salary as a Vip Coordinator at Republic Garden & Lounge was around $45 thousand per annum.
This Southern Hospitality has always loved music and hospitality. So, as she grew up, she started Djing and was eventually hired by Republic Garden & Lounge. Before that, she worked as a server at three other restaurants — Bourbon N’ Bubbles, O-Ku Sushi Charleston, and Rooster’s Woodfire Kitchen.

Sadly, while growing up, Maddi also got addicted to alcohol. And after her parents bought her a breathalyzer, she switched to drugs! Now, she’s practicing “enthusiastic sobriety,” which is how she can be the life of the party at Republic.
Moreover, she even worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor Volunteer for over 3 years at Insight in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As for her education, Maddi grafted from Charlotte Catholic High School in 2015 and later joined the College of Charleston for her undergraduate degree (just like Southern Charm’s Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo). There, she studied Psychology and Communication, and she graduated in 2019.

Maddi Reese is a hopeless romantic. She still believed in her cheating ex-boyfriend named Trevor whilst also having a certain attraction for her co-worker/VIP host Joe Bradley.
In a love triangle, Maddi shown was in a dilemma about Southern Hospitality.
Talking a little about her former relationship, Maddi and her ex-boyfriend Trevor started dating back in November 2013. The two were together for over 3 years before Trevor decided to cheat on his lovely girlfriend. But surprisingly, Maddi wants to forgive him and still has pics of him on her IG.
