MTV’s The Love Experiment follows three best friends going on a dating adventure together in the new MTV reality series. The show, which premiered on August 15 at 10 p.m., follows three single women from Atlanta, Georgia—Marcia “Marz” Sharniece a flight attendant; Paige Shari Addison, a management consultant; and Tamara, a flight attendant/entrepreneur—as they date potential partners from a list of 24 men.
Marcia’s MTV bio reads, “Marz is a thrill seeker and a flight attendant who works with her BFF Tamara. In previous relationships, Marz has dated bad boys who provided lots of excitement, but also instability and pain. Now she’s looking for a man who can be an equal partner. Marz wants a man who also values family while keeping up with her intelligence and passion for adventure.”

“It wasn’t going to happen like that,” Marcia told The Post. “That’s the beauty of it. We have such different interests in guys, our tastes aren’t the same. It was never going to be like ‘We both want him.’ It was more like ‘Girl, go get your man!’ It was never a competition amongst us, it was all love and guidance among friends.”
Each man wears headphones, so the ladies can gossip about each man to his face as they essentially “window shop” for dates.
“That was the best part. I loved that,” Marcia added further. “It was kind of like an icebreaker among us. We were able to have that little bit of secrecy with the guys –having our little nicknames and jokes and things just between us. Because [while the men wore headphones], they can see it, but can’t hear it.”
The three women enter a “hall” in the exhibition where 24 single guys are set up like profiles on dating apps, each with an alcove filled with pictures and items that represent their hobbies. As the women essentially “window shop” for dates, they can talk about each man to his face because each male is wearing headphones.
