But Maxwell has no attachment to his birth parents. Infact, he considers his adoptive one to be his everything and thanks them for being in his life.

Recently, Maxwell won in Florida’s 10th Congressional District defeating Republican Calvin Wimbish by 19 percentage points. He will be succeeding outgoing Democratic Rep. Val Demings, who challenged incumbent Marco Rubio in the Senate.

“History was made tonight. We made history for Floridians, for Gen Z, and for everyone who believes we deserve a better future,” Maxwell tweeted after the victory.

Meet Maritza Argibay, Maxwell Frost Mother

Maxwell Frost’s mother Maritza Argibay is the daughter of Zenaida Argibay.

Sadly, her mother Zenaida took her last breath on October 15, 2022, at the age of 97.

According to Maxwell, his grandmother Zenaida was one of the most important people in his life. “She was a believer, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, mother, sister, orphan, chef, eater, survivor, and fighter,” he said.

Also, the Democrat Rep added that she came to the US from Cuba during the freedom flights in the late 1960s. And after her husband Pepe died, she founded a community at a Hialeah Housing Authority Affordable Housing complex and it was a second home to Maxwell.

Previously, Zenaida moved to Orlando from Hialeah just to raise Maxwell for the first 2 years of his life.

Maritza Argibay was born on May 13, 1956. That made her 66 years of age in 2022.

She is 3 years older than her sister Sandra S Maristany.

Her sister, Sandra today lives in Orlando, Florida. She’s divorced and has a beautiful granddaughter. As for work, this Miami Springs Senior High School graduate was a CSR at Maximus.

Maritza Argibay is a teacher. She has spent her entire career teaching and mentoring kids who have special needs.

“Every day she comes home from work excited to tell everyone about what happened at school. The special thing about those stories is that she always calls her students her kids,” Maxwell shared.

Seems like teaching is just more than just a job for Maritza — it’s a calling. She loved and treated each one of her special students like they are her family because they are. 

“In a world that excludes and casts out our special needs students, it takes a special kind of person and heart to do what my mother does every day. We need more educators and humans like her.” Maxwell praised her even more.

The last we checked, she was an InD Teacher at Osceola County Schools.

As for her education, Maritza went to Miami Springs High School and later received her BS in Education from Wright State University in 1986.

Meet Patrick Frost, Maxwell Frost Father

Maxwell Frost’s father Patrick Frost is all about music. Growing up on the island of Bermuda, this beautiful tropical setting left a lasting longing for island life and would influence his future artistic endeavors.

Patrick Frost is an award-winning Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer.

Ever since high school, Patrick was interested in music and played Trombone and Piano. He even spent his summers attending National Stage Band Camps as well as the Berklee College of Music.

Eventually, Patrick then graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance, and later got his Master of Music in Theory and Composition from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

In 1982, he then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB. There, he was a member of the 661st Air Force Band.

There year later, Patrick then began working at Cyberteknics Creative Recording in Dayton, Ohio. So, combined, his work at Cyberteknicsand the Air Force Band gave him a firm foundation in multitrack recording, production, and the emerging MIDI technology.

In 1987, he finally co-founded a production company and started producing music jingles for radio and TV as well as scoring for corporate film and video. From there, it was smooth sailing.
