Meet Dalton Gribble, Ashley Cain Husband
Dalton Gribble first met Ashley Cain on January 3rd, 2015.
The figure skater recalled, “I was waiting on two friends Molly and Ashley B to celebrate my first night with my license when Dalton and his friends Chad and Dawson walked up to me.”
It seems that Dalton liked what he saw, struck a conversation, and invited Ashley to join them while she waited for her friends. Even later as Ashley’s friends arrived and they went on to grab their table, Dalton and his friends joined them and they all went to grab dessert.
That night, Dalton and Ashley conversed about anything and everything. And when it was time to go home, Dalton put his number in her phone.
A few weeks later, the two then went skating on their first date. And for their second, they just sang along to the radio in the car with no care in the world.
On March 30th, 2018, Dalton then popped the question to Ashley in front of a gazebo lit up with letters “Marry Me?”. The Olympian said “yes!” before she knew it.
Also, families from both sides were there to witness the moment.
The next year, the lovebirds exchanged vows at The Nest at Ruth Farms (a wedding venue in Ponder, Texas) on June 01, 2019.
Fast forward to 2022, the two were still together, and Dalton was there to watch Ashley and partner Timothy take the ice in Beijing, China, for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Fun Fact: Timothy knew about the ring and engagement proposal a year before it happened. “Finally, I’ve known about this for forever!” he yelled when the proposal took place.

Back in 2015, Daron was diagnosed with melanoma that prompted him to remove the affected area along his right cheek and jawline. Thankfully he recovered in time and was doing well at the age of 60 in 2022.
