Per the reports of the outlet, they were involved in a romantic affair in the fall (December) of 2021. The affair allegedly prompted Brin’s divorce from Nicole Shanahan in January, WSJ reported. But WSJ’s report suggested that they were separated, but still living together.
Only a few weeks after Brin discovered the affair, the two reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their separation in court documents, the Journal reports.
According to a source familiar with the situation, Brin advised his financial advisors to liquidate his shares in Musk’s numerous enterprises as their relationship has become tense in recent months. In 2008, Brin made a $500,000 investment in Tesla.
However, the Tesla founder denies affair with Nicole, BBC reported. He referred to the report as “total bs”. Elon went on to say that he is still friends with Mr. Brin and that they were “at a party together last night!”.
