On 15 December 2013 Destiny Payton-Williams met a man called La’Berrick Williams at a mutual friend’s Christmas Party in Huntsville, Alabama. The two locked eyes, the room stood still and they were inseparable from that day forward.
Then, one-night La’Berrick gave Destiny the proposal she deserved in a helicopter ride. Eben afterward the wonders never stopped coming. So, on a weekend getaway to New York, La’Berrick decided to take Destiny on a tour of his alma mater the prestigious West Point Military Academy. Instantly Destiny looked at La’Berrick with those bright eyes, a huge smile, and excitement and he looked at her and at that moment La’Berrick realized he was getting hitched at West Point.
And so they got married on 7 September 2019 at West Point Military Academy in West Point New York.

Are La’Berrick Williams And Destiny Payton-Williams Still Married?
La’Berrick Williams and Destiny Payton-Williams were no more together. They were officially divorced by 16 June 2021.
About this, Destiny also shared in an interview with the “Ooh Ladies First Panel.” At first, she said that La’Berrick allegedly left the show hoping that she would be fired. As for not talking about divorce on the show, she revealed that she agreed to not talk about him on the show in lieu of some other things.
During the two years of their marriage, Destiny said they were going through a divorce for nine months. Also, she recalled how she was served papers three weeks after giving birth. She was standing in the driveway when she received the papers and at that point, they were still living in the same house.
Looking back, Destiny thinks she has a theory about what went wrong. She was seeking a separation because she did not want to jump into divorce. She thinks Covid was also a big factor. Because they were long-distance they came into a house and they literally could not leave. So if they had a disagreement or whatever, they were stuck with each other. Things only got worse from there.
