Latoya Ellis might have married Chris Lamont on November 19, 2022. But she was his wife even before the two tied the knot at a wedding surrounded by family and friends. Yes, Chris has been calling Latoya his “wife” for a long time. And it makes sense because they’ve been together so long — even their kids are now all grown up!
Their two sons, Chris and Jayden, were even there at the wedding, as their best men.
If you love Buy It or Build It then you might have also seen little Chris on HGTV. He graced one of the June 2022 ep of the show helping his dad with the renovations. “I got to shoot a few scenes with my son Chris Jr today. He’s a natural. I better be careful, he may just take my job,” Chris once joked over a post.
Chris Lamont Jr. is also a track and friend who advanced to Texas regionals in June 2022. He was only a track meet away from qualifying for Junior Olympics — just at the age of 11.
As for Jayden, he turned 4 years of age in August 2022.

On the other hand, Chris is a Piscataway High School graduate who went on to receive his BS in supply chain management from Lehigh University College of Business in 2007.
Later, he and his brother then moved to Dallas, TX, and opened up a janitorial and floor cleaning company. And now, they are helping people in Dallas in making the big decision for their dream home on the HGTV show Buy It or Build it.
As per the star, renovating was an “opportunity to take something that is seen as undesirable and create something beautiful and soft after.” Also, he’s found it “cool” to see the family’s faces when they saw the result of a beautiful remodel.
Besides Buy It or Build it, Chris also worked at The FOCIS Group LLC, the company he co-founded in May 2009, and CWC Restoration & Construction, another company he co-founded in Jan 2009.

Latoya Ellis comes from a family of five.

As for her father Clarence Ellis, he was also a pastor at Rock Generations.
Latoya’s parents were married on July 18, 1981, and were still going strong as of 2022.

As for her sister, Jasell D Wilburnwilson (born: July 2, 1976) resided in Florence Township, working as a registered nurse.
On her 45th birthday, their mother took to FB to write, “Happy Birthday to our beautiful daughter Jasell. You are our first born a WOG, Wife, Mother, Big Sister, Auntie, Grandaughter, Grandmother, and a ride-or-die person for your entire family I watch you grow from a baby always loving and helping others and your family as well as an extended family. We are so proud that the Lord gave us you.”
Now, coming to her family-in-law. They are Patrick and Dawn Lamont (mother and father), and Calvin and Wayne Lamont (brothers).
His father-in-law, Patrick is originally from Buffalo, New York. He studied “Business, Finance, and Health Care” at AIU Buckhead and later went on to join Sidra Medical and Research Center as an SME.
Patrick met the love of his life Dawn in the ’80s and married her on August 20, 1983.
Her mother-in-law, Dawn worked as a “Patient Service Manager Health Care” at MT. Sinai West.
