She said: “Tropical plants are quite easy to grow, really. They absolutely love water, and naturally, in North Devon, we get a lot of that. There’s not a lot of maintenance and as long as you keep watering them, they will look after themselves. It’s really nice to see people getting involved so early and showing off their gardens.”
