Following Is it Cake? Season 1 success, the exorbitant baking battle is back for Season 2. It premiered on Netflix on 30 June 2023. A fresh batch of bakers specializing in hyperrealistic bakes, like in old times, was tasked once again to make the most unlikely objects out of cake. And they did just that and even better in hopes of deceiving seasoned chefs and celebrity guests and winning their share of $120,000. Spirit Wallace On Netflix’s Is It Cake, Too? Season 2
These days Spirit Wallace can be seen teasing her trailer of Netflix’s Is It Cake Too? on social media. Also, anywhere she is allowed to, she tells everyone about her time on the game competition show.
“Whooooo! ‘Humbled’ is an understatement. I am so elated y’all. And I’m going to tell you right now – Season 2 is completely INSANE!”, she wrote lately on a FB post. Indeed, she has felt honored that she stood amongst some of the “dopest” cake artists in the nation. She said “a bunch of GOATS” were in the room with her. And so like that, Spirit has been encouraging her online followers to add the show to their watch list.
Spirit’s first cake on the show was based on workout kettlebells. It was appreciated by the judges but also failed to make much of a mark. Later, of course, she elevated her game. She did not win the episodic $10,000 prize but did win a spot in the finale, where she paired up with Liz Marek.
Spirit Wallace Career
Some of the cakes that Spirit Wallace has baked have been for Vivica Fox, DJ Khaled, and Puff Daddy. And she said, though that has led to people calling her a celebrity baker, she has “honestly” always put the same time and effort into everyone’s cakes. Just because she swore, she wants to make everyone feel like a celebrity.
After filming ended, Spirit, just like Justin Salinas and others, returned to her regular life, back to her baking business.
To the cameras on the show, the cake artist and instructor also divulged that one day soon she wishes to be a homeowner and give her kids a roof to call their own.
On her LinkedIn, Spirit only mentioned being the owner/custom cake designer at A Pinch of Spirit Baking Co since March 2005. Spirit’s Torrance-based local business also had a very active Facebook page at the time of this writing.

Spirit Wallace has most kept her family-related stories to herself so far. So, here are only a few things that we know about her family.
Spirit’s sister Eternity Duvall, then 20, of La Puente, unfortunately, died in a shooting on 13 March 2014, outside an apartment building in the 900 block of West Cameron Avenue. The case remained unsolved. She left behind two small children.
Even today when Spirit is asked, “What made you start baking cakes!?”, she emotionally answers it’s because of her little sister, Eternity, whose “LIFE was tragically taken back”. “Her life was cut short in a blink of an eye”, Spirit says filled with her memories.
Eternity also is survived by her and Spirit’s brother who turned 50 on 7 September 2022.
On her social media, Spirit also has shown her online followers her nephew, Tammuz Lee, who reached the age of 22 on 26 March 2023. Tammuz on his IG @tammuzlee mentioned being an actor, model, and dancer.
Spirit Wallace Husband
Spirit Wallace was once married. However, as of 2023, she seemed to be no longer. Back on 20 July 2013, Spirit took to her Facebook, a wedding day picture of her and her groom, and next to it she wrote “Our very first steps together as Husband & Wife ❤ The new Mr. & Mrs. Webb 🙂”.
On 3 November 2014, Spirit again featured her husband on social media. This time, she shared a picture of her, her much younger daughter, and Mr. Webb of course. Below, in the comment box, people dropped comments like “Such a beautiful family!”. In the coming days, Mr. Webb never was again seen on Spirit’s social media. And for the past several years, Spirit has looked like a single mother instead. She has two young kids. The eldest is a daughter, Jru, and the youngest is a son, Jrai.
Jrai, the greatest little brother, a brilliant thinker, ridiculously smart, and at the top of his class, turned six on 13 January 2023. In Spirit’s words, Jrai also is “officially a HAND FULL Sun”. As for Jru, she turned 9 on 24 September 2022. When it comes to her baby girl, Spirit is the most proud that she is so kind and thoughtful. She is just as fond of her “princess”.
To Spirit, they are her greatest creation to date. She says all she does and why she does is for them. Often on social media, she can be seen talking about motherhood and its eminence.
