Stevie Lamb On Great British Menu
Great British Menu is back for season 17 and the first episode of the show premiered on 1 February 2022. Eight chefs are representing the eight British regions (Central, Scotland, the South West, the London South/East area, the North West, Wales, the North East, and Northern Ireland) on the show.
One of the chefs we discuss in this article is Stevie Lamb who is representing the North West region. Speaking with ChronicleLive Stevie shared that he has been watching and admiring the talent on the series since it first aired. Hence, he was thrilled to be in the 2022 season alongside other top home-grown chefs.
He is joined by fellow contestants Ben Orpwood, Liam Dillon, Sally Abe, Harvey Perttola, Sam Lomas, Caroline Martins, and Dave Critchley. The returning host Andi Oliver will be guiding the contestants on their culinary journey in the show like before.
Whereas the judging panel is comprised of Chef Tom Kerridge, comedian Ed Gamble, and restauranteur Nisha Katona. The contestants also get to meet Veteran Judge on the show.

He worked under executive resort chef Martin Horsley at the three AA Rosette Rockliffe restaurants. In his new role, he became responsible for developing Rockliffe Hall’s kitchen garden, working alongside the head gardener. He foraged in the estate around the restaurant for produce.
Stevie, after his promotion, announced that he hoped to secure a Michelin star for his cooking. Speaking to THE CATERER he added, “I am inspired by creative, innovative culinary techniques brought by today’s new generation of chefs such as Gareth Ward, Tommy Banks, and Paul Leonard – the ethos of farm to fork dining, sustainable food choices, and experimenting with the illusion of food and sensory cooking techniques.”
He added that he loved simple food, done well – not overly complex or fussy – yet showcasing modern, creative culinary techniques.
To experience a fine dining experience at its best, Stevie and his team of chefs served dinner between 6 pm and 9 pm. The guests are expected to dress in a smart-casual dress code for evening dining.
