April Melohn was born to her mom Jennifer Smith (@jsmithlane). It appears that Jennifer had April from her previous relationship that she hasn’t shared much about. Her mother turned 44 years old in August 2021. She is currently in a relationship/married to Jesse Lane Jr.
Jennifer Smith is the daughter of Zenny Melohn and John Charles Smith Jr. Sadly, April lost her maternal grandfather on 1 June 2014. April’s grandmother Zenny celebrated her ex-husband’s 6th death anniversary with a post where she wrote, “Rest In Peace John Charles Smith Jr. today is your Death Anniversary 6/1/20 Ito been 6 yrs. watch over your 2 Beautiful Daughters Christina & Jennifer and 5 grandkids always”.
Before that, April’s grandmother Zenny married Gary Melohn on 1 September 1991. April’s grandfather Gary Melohn (@gary.melohn.9) was the son of Sharon Kay Melohn (@sharon.melohn.7) and Ted Melohn. His parents married on 31 March 1962 in Waverly. They lived in Stout, Iowa. Gary lost his mother Sharon, a homemaker, on 25 August 2014 at the age of 68.
Gary has two sisters Debra Batton (@debra.batton.9) (husband Herb Beckwith) of Evansdale and Amy (@amy.m.meyer.7) (husband Dave) Meyer of Bristow. He also has one brother Scott (wife Eileen) of Clarksville. Gary’s sister Debra died in 2019 at the age of 55. She was married to Loren Batton but they later divorced.
Moreover, Debra had two daughters Laurie (Jeramie) Wasem of Waverly and April Batton of Evansdale. She had lost two children a daughter Lacey Batton; a son, Bradley Batton. According to Facebook, Gary is a graduate of Dike Community High School.
More about her grandmother’s family, real name Zenaida A Melohn (nee Lindenfelser), Zenny Melohn is the daughter of Lucila A. Lindenfelser and Joseph Lindenfelser. Her mother was born on 31 October 1937 in the Philippines. She had been a Waukegan resident for the past 30 years and retired from Baxter Lab and Cardinal Health where she had been employed for 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park, IL.
Sadly April’s grandmother Zenny lost her mother on 3 November 2009.
Zenny has one brother named Danilo (wife Mitang) Layoc and three sisters; Yolanda (husband John) Layoc, Noraida (husband Sayas) Dimaano, Rosalinda (husband Ramon) Carluen.
