Co-director Lee Jae-kyoo of All of Us Are Dead intentionally looked for lesser-known actors in the hopes that it would help the show feel more realistic and shocking. Looks like, he got what he wanted with the cast of up-and-coming young Korean actors doing justice to their specific roles.
Now, meet Yoon Chan-young, who stars as Lee Cheong-san, in a 2022 South Korean zombie apocalypse series that is being hailed as the new Squid Game, or as critics put it, as something that is paced like a bullet and emotionally resonant when it needs to be.

In All of Us Are Dead, Yoon Chan-young plays Chung-san, sometimes spelled Cheong-san. Netflix describes his character as a quick-thinking and composed student. Netflix, also informed the fans that these characters are going to make him make clever decisions during the soon-coming zombie outbreak.
Joining Yoon on this big break are actors Park Ji-hoo (as On-jo), Cho Yi-hyun (as Nam-ra), Park Solomon (as Lee Soo-hyuk), Yoo In-soo (as Yoon Gwi-nam), and Shin Jae-hwi (as Chang-hoon) in the main cast.
Most of these people including the others in the show are budding young Korean actors. However, there is Lee Yoo-Mi too, who notably portrayed Player 240 in Netflix’s hit survival drama Squid Game. But, she only has a small role in All Of Us Are Dead.
So, this will likely be the first time audience all around the globe seeing as many of the actors in a show that is based on the Naver webtoon Now at Our School by Joo Dong-geun.
