Kyle Hansen left Bitwit in April 2023. In a video posted on the channel titled, “I’m Leaving Bitwit, But Not The Internet,” the Youtuber said that he was leaving Bitwit, and he didn’t know “when or if” he’ll be back.
But fans, don’t be sad for Kyle’s working on his new endeavors including his own podcast named Super Special (which will have its own channel). Also, he promised to return to the channel in June to cover the Computex 2023 event in Taiwan — which will probably be the last time we’ll ever see in on Bitwit.
Furthermore, Kyle will be posting a “random build video,” or “tech project,” and will let you in on his job updates through his other Youtube channel @wrkhrs3. As of May 2023, the channel has over 150 thousand subscribers, and this number is bound to spike after his departure from Bitwit.
As for his new entertainment-comedy podcast, the YouTuber revealed that he will be co-hosting Super Special with his friend Ian — where they will also be sharing some embarrassing stories from their own lives.
Kyle’s departure from Bitwit finally comes two years after when he first announced that he was making a big shift in his career (in Jan 2021). Sadly, at the time, Kyle was forced to return to Bitwit to help him pay the legal fees. Also, he was running the risk of losing his house as well.
Bitwit Kyle Hansen And Heather Divorce
Bitwit Kyle Hansen filed for divorce from his wife Heather deCaussin on January 20, 2021. The case was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Courts, Pasadena Courthouse located in Los Angeles, California.
However, the two had already separated in late 2020. So, their marriage only lasted for 5 years.
Allegedly, the reason for their divorce was Heather’s infidelity. Rumors had that Heather cheated on Kyle th his editor, Chris Pinto. “I mean the guy never fully recovered, I stopped watching his videos a couple of months after he was dumped by his cheating gf because his videos started getting boring or stale,” a fan wrote.
Some even argued that Kyle stopped making videos on Bitwit because Heather owned half of the business and revenue from the channel. So, continuing to make videos meant he had to pay her some portion of that revenue.
On top of cheating allegations, fans were also raging at Heather for suing Kyle for spousal support and half the channel’s profits. “His wife slept with his editor and is now suing for half his channels profits in the divorce,” a user commented.
Enraged, some also took it to Heather’s socials to comment on the matter. But gracious Heather neither deleted nor replied to the hate comments.
