Brian Nadeau On Netflix’s Pressure Cooker
Netflix’s Pressure Cooker was a new cook-off that kicked off on 6 January 2022. The first season of the show featured a number of talented chefs who dazzled viewers with their skills and tactics while residing in the same home. Brian Nadeau was one of the 11 contestants who participated in the show and judged each other based on the dishes they prepare.
The show was reportedly filmed in Los Angeles, California. After the show premiered, he sat down and watched all the episodes and showed up for a radio interview at Hot 106. His response about watching himself on Netflix’s reality show was, “it didn’t feel real.” According to Brian, there were hundreds of chefs who wanted to compete in the show and he was one of the 11 who was selected to appear on the show.
Brian added, “My whole idea going into it was I knew that I was going to be competing with some very bad you know really high-end chefs so my whole goal was I’m not going to go in and just try to do some mediocre stuff my whole goal is I’m gonna go do ambitious dishes because I want to either go big or go home so I’m either gonna hit or I’m gonna lose so you know that was my whole idea.”
Eventually, Robbie Jester won the competition and secured the prize of $100 Thousand. The other cast member joining him were Christan Willis, Liv Bin, Ed Porter, Lana Lagomarsini, Jeana Pecha, Michael Eckles, Renee Blackman, Caroline Gutierrez, and Sergei Simonov.
Ahead of the premiere, Brian added, “Told you I did something cool… actually unbelievable #Netflix 2023 coming soon.”

Brian Nadeau Career
Brian Nadeau stated on his LinkedIn that he started his culinary career working at Checkmate Pizza as a kitchen manager/head cook. He spent nine and a half years working there before he joined Taso’s NY System as an executive chef/manager in June 2006. He worked at the restaurant for a little over five years and joined New Sea Shai Restaurant as General manager before he quit his job at Taco’s.
A year later, in December 2011, The Fish Market Restaurant hired Brian as Executive Chef / AGM. While there he worked till June 2014 and was already working at Amalfi Oceanside at the Pier as executive chef. At Amalfi, he planned and implemented creative menus and food service with a variety of innovations.
Brian was fully responsible for managing the food production, kitchen operation, and hiring and disciplining staff as necessary. He continued working there till February 2016.
Then in 2016, Brian founded Cucina Rustica with his wife. He then started serving his business as an executive chef. Meanwhile, in December 2019, he formed Hash NY System where he also worked in that same role.
In his LinkedIn bio, he shares that he is a very “passionate, hardworking, dedicated, ambitious individual who strives to be the best at whatever task is presented to me.” How did he got introduced to the culinary business? He writes, “My knowledge of the restaurant business began when I was a dishwasher at the age of 12, but through long hours and dedication I have worked very hard to learn all positions within the restaurant, leading to becoming an Executive Chef. / General Manager.”
Brian is a Tolman High School graduate of 1998 and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island in 2006.

Brian Nadeau’s wife is Gina Musto. They married in October 2016 and have been happily together ever since. On their 4th anniversary, Brian posted on his Facebook writing, “The most incredible day of my life was this day… her more than anything!!! Thank you for making my life what it is, being my best friend & always making me laugh… you are my heart. Happy 4 years anniversary!!”
A year later in 2021, as a tribute to the greatest day of their lives, Brian wrote, “My days are brighter with you. Happy 5 years married to my absolute everything #happyanniversary.”
On his wife’s birthday in 2020, Brian wished, “Wishing this irresistible woman an amazing birthday!!! Love her more than anything….you are my best friend Gina Nadeau, You make me laugh more than anybody I know & you have the biggest. I love you, happy birthday..”
Gina, who was born in September 1981, is currently 41 years old. She and Brian own and operates Cucina Rustica together. They started the business in 2016. Before that, they had worked together at the former Oceanside at the Narragansett Pier. On Saturdays, she tends bars.
Brian is now a father to his beautiful son Luca Anthony Nadeau. In January 2022, he posted on his FB about being a father while writing, “Being a dad is the greatest thing I’ve ever done. There’s nothing like it. Nothing will beat this. Ever.”
