So, this means, the show is again packed with relationship dramas, friendship scuffles, and love triangles — only this time with an all-exclusive African-American cast.
“If you don’t know, Black excellence is Martha’s Vineyard, and Martha’s Vineyard is Black excellence,” one of the cast members says in the trailer. And she couldn’t be truer. Martha’s Vineyard actually has a long history of hosting Black vacationers, and it was one of the first beach destinations where African Americans could vacation and purchase a property.
As per Jason’s Bravo bio, “When he’s not serving celebrity clients as a senior flight attendant for one of the top airlines, Jason Lyke is preoccupied with dancing, socializing, and being the life of the party.” They labeled him to have a “vigorous work ethic” and someone who knows how to put his game “face on and not let trauma define him.”

Jason Lyke was born to his parents, Dwayne Lyke and Lalanya Abner.
His father, Dwayne is a Chicago, Illinois native who attended Fenger Academy High School and College of DuPage and went on to become an Optician at Luxury Optical.
As per Jason, his father was the most resilient man he knew. “I have learned so much from him. I’m grateful to have him in my life and even though he can test all my patience sometime I wouldn’t change him for anything,” he wrote on Father’s Day. Furthermore, the star added that his father always supported him in anything he wanted to do and taught him the value of self-worth, resilience, and hard work.
Likewise, Jason’s grateful to his mother who is the “strongest woman” he knows. “She taught me to be kind and be understanding and nonjudgemental & so much more ….more importantly. She showed me what unconditional love is and how it feels when it is giving so abundantly,” he wrote.
Also, he claimed that he inherits his artistry from his mother.
Lalanya worked as a Connector at Firestarter. She is a Pasadena, California native who went to Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Howard University.
His parents, Dwayne Lyke, and Lalanya turned 60 and 53 years of age in 2023.
As for his siblings, Jason has an older sister, and two much younger siblings (a brother and a sister)

However, Jason’s already a father. His daughter stepped into this world in July 2022, and ever since she’s been the star of his socials.
Now, Jason calls himself a girl dad and proudly fulfills his “daddy duty.” Being a father has changed his life “for the better.”
