The lineup of 8 pairs of professional chefs is ready to compete in Season 5 of Bake Off: The Professionals. The show is premiering on Channel 4. Liam Charles, a former participant, is co-hosting the show alongside Stacey Solomon. The latter takes over for comic Tom Allen in the episodes. To win the season, the contestants must impress the judge’s panel, which comprises Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.
Mireia Ferreres Luna is one-half of the pair representing Levens Kitchen. She and her partner Robert have been working at Levens for the past 18 months. She started cooking in Barcelona, where she won international awards for her patisserie skills. Before Mireia Ferreres thought about pursuing a career in the bakery, she earned her license in Pedagogia in November 2013. She has been baking for a very long time, but only pursued it as a career after a long time. Around the same time, she also showed off her baking skills by posting pictures of cakes.
Even as a rookie, Mireia had admirable skills as a baker and cake designer.
Coming to her professional journey, Mireia is the co-founder of Le Petit Bonbon Mataro. She started her baking with Fran Fernández. Two of them have won several awards for designing cakes. They have been working together for more than six years. Together, Fran and Mireia have won different international awards in Birmingham, Lyon, and Paris.
In November 2017, Mireia and Fran secured a bronze medal in the Cake Collaboration category where they competed against almost 100 cakes. In September 2017, they won a gold medal in Lyon.
Then they moved to the UK for Barcelona and worked together. Mireia is working in the Lake District (United Kingdom) as a pastry chef in a restaurant. In her spare time, she loves to make delicious cakes and desserts that you can order by email or our social media.
