Season 5 of Bake Off: The Professionals has a new line-up of skilled chefs going to the Channel 4 kitchen. Former contestant Liam Charles is co-hosting the show with Stacey Solomon. In the episodes, the latter is taking over for comedian Tom Allen.
Zachary “Zack” Georges is this year’s contestant. He has worked in France and the US. He met Jemima at The Fat Duck five years ago and have been friends ever since.
In the show, Zachary and Jemima are partners. Puddles Bespoke Patisseries is a London-based shop that specializes in premium cakes, afternoon tea, and desserts. Jemima started the company three years ago after moving to New York from Devon and working at The Fat Duck, Dominique Ansel, and Clause Bosi.
Enrico and Antoine, Hungarian pair Boglarka and Kristian, Eight Club London members and best friends Emanuele and Mariola, family chefs Jeffery and Venus, Nathan & Kevin, Levens Kitchen stars Robert and Mireia, and French chefs David and Cydrick are among the others competing against him.
The contenders will have to impress the judge’s panel, which includes Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden, in order to win the season.

According to LinkedIn, Zachary Georges has been working in the restaurant business since 2012. He began his career working in Gracie’s where he helped the pastry chef with daily preparations. At the same time, he also performed the same role at Clio Restaurant in March 2012.
In June 2013, Zachary joined Thomas Keller Restaurant Group. He landed the job of Pastry Commis in Yountville, California, and worked there until August 2013. From September to December 2013, Zachary worked for Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort as Chef de Partie – Pastry in Adare, Ireland.
Starting from January 2014 to February 2016, Zachary served at Hyatt Regency as a Sous Chef adding another milestone to his resume. At the time, he had moved from Ireland to Trinidad. During that period of employment, he managed and supervised a team of 11 commis chefs and chef de parties.
He helped develop menus for VIP dinners and buffets, trained junior staff on new pastry techniques, and produced mousse, verrines, and other pastries for events and banquets.
For nearly 8 months from April 2016 to November 2016, Zachary worked at Great Fosters Hotel & Restaurant based in Egham, Surrey, the United Kingdom as a Pastry Chef. Then, he quit his job there to join Yeast Bakery Limited as a baker in London.
Zachary continued working in Yeast Bakery till July 2018 he landed the spot of Pastry Chef at Ottolenghi & Nopi & Rovi in July 2018. As of 2022, he has been working at Ottolenghi & Nopi & Rovi.
Other than his career as a pastry chef, Zachary also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Johnson & Wales University. He also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from the same in 2013. He earned an Associate in Science in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University Providence in Rhode Island in 2011.
Moreover, Zachary secured his Master of Science from London Metropolitan University in Food Science. He also holds a Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts from Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute.
