Below Deck Down Under returned for its second installment on July 17, 2023, and this time, the M/Y Northern Sun cruised the spectacular waters of Australia. Once again, the boat was led by Captain Jason Chambers and Chief Stew Aesha Scott and to help them a few new crew members were added including the stew Margot Sisson who believed the journey would be a smooth said.
But as expected, Captain Jason faced the challenge of managing a lively new crew amid constant shake-ups throughout the season. He was also seen clashing with Chef Tzarina as guests indulged in mouth-watering menus and delightful spreads.
To complicate matters, the deckhands found themselves initially understaffed, leading to costly errors as they struggle to find their footing on the unpredictable, aging vessel. While the interior initially experiences smooth sailing, things took a turn when a clash of work styles creates a rift between the stews, testing their teamwork.
As if that wasn’t enough, unexpected newcomers continuously rocked the boat throughout the season, including the shocking arrival of a polarizing familiar face from another franchise. With a slew of hook-ups, break-ups, and a rare love pentagon, the crew found themselves entangled in a web of emotions, leaving them reeling as tensions spill over on the deck.
Obviously, Margot wasn’t happy with how things were. If she could she would trade spots with Courtney Skippon as she “seems to surround herself with scenic views, self-care, nature, good food, and the people she loves most (which is exactly how I am),” Margot said.
