Because Natascha’s son and Dee’s dad had been shot. He fortunately survived this. Some two years prior, Natascha both her dad and oldest brother died of cancer between two weeks apart. So, all these life-altering Traumas, combined with post-menopause, Natascha really had to try hard to navigate her life. So, Dee coming to live with her as discussed prior had turned her trauma into triumph. This was around the time Natascha began implementing positive mindset practices in her everyday life. So, these life-altering experiences and recovery eventually gave birth to her creating Hardee Life.
Even today (by September 2023) Natascha continued to be a legal guardian to Dee. Another fact that is to be noted is that they both have the same birthday. The proud grandma-turned-mom frequently shows glimpses of Dee including her swimming medals and certificates on social media.
