Promising to be a reinvent in the reality dating scene, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On dropped on Netflix on 6 April 2022. It presents a premise slightly similar to Temptation Island and brings together six romantic pairs where one partner is eager to wed and the other is unsure. The Ultimatum: Are Shanique Imari And Randall Griffin Still Together?
Shanique Imari had started dating Randall Griffin a mere year and a half prior when she gave him the ultimatum; to secure both her future as well as her responsibilities at the right age. “He’s a little comfortable with going with the flow, and I want to make sure that we’re planning to build together in a way that includes marriage,” Shanique explained their dynamics on the show. Randall who also felt like being “pressured into marriage” had then talked to her about his goal is to clear off some debts before settling down for good. It did not go well (of course) as they separated and went on a bit of dating among the contestants.
Eventually, viewers saw Shanique pick Zay Wilson and Randall chose Madlyn Ballatori for the trial marriage. (Of course) unlike Zay, Shanique only chose Zay for her problems with Randall to become evident.
So, Shanique initially did not even get intimate with Zay. But, once she heard how Randall was giving Madlyn the attention and affection she had always craved from him, she too had switched gears. But of course, that did not last after she confronted Randall that she wanted him to just sit in a “fucking” corner and miss her and to show his love.
Yes. They did reunite eventually and despite everything that was said and done, things seem to get much better for them when they moved in together for the show’s final experiment. They still had differences. But things seem to get better.
Now, speaking of if or not they are still together, they did follow one another on Instagram. They maintained a likely bond. But, just this did not tell us if they decided to continue their romance out of the show; or were just friends as of the time of this writing.
